This is me and Baby Bun… all the time.

All I do is kiss his cute little chubby cheeks and nibble on his belly.

Even at 3 a.m. in the morning.

Thanks to AP!

Speaking of awesome things, I highly recommend The value of simple.

It’s an easy-to-understand book about investing and if you’re a Canadian starting out and a DIY investing n00b & beginner, I’d say it’s well worth the $7.97 for the ebook.

I’m giving away a copy on this blog!

If you’re a Canadian and you want a copy, tell me so by leaving me a comment and I’ll randomly pick a winner before Christmas (Dec 25th)

YAY for flats and comfort!!! Heels are cute, but very over rated.

Every time I see a pic of an animal mama with a baby, I’m like, “OH! That’s SSS!”

Fellow Canadian who wouldn’t mind travel reading. :]

I’m Canadian and would love a copy of The Value of Simple. I’ve been putting money into my work RRSP for years, but just started with some direct investing last year and don’t feel I know near enough to make good decisions.

I use that bareminerals bareskin! I love it. It just smells weird bc i think its fragrance free. but its safe during pregnancy so i can fake my glow!

That’s so sweet 🙂 I don’t see the point of being married and living in different cities. I find that so depressing.

I’ve been trying to learn more about investing!

While I know some lines are specifically made for stores like T.J. Max and Marshall’s, I can’t stand shopping in the high end stores at the mall and then finding the same exact item in these discount stores for 50-75% off. I’ve scored some amazing deals there over the years. I can usually judge the quality of a garment by feel and when in doubt, I check the label to see where it was made and what the fabric is. Saw some Manolo’s in Nordstrom’s the Rack the other day marked down to $135 and we all know he doesn’t take any shortcuts.

Agreed. I can usually judge by the feel and look of a garment if it is of good quality.

The only thing I am concerned about is that Manolos are marked down to $135 for instance, but I got a pair of “new” (used) Manolos on eBay the other day and they feel NOTHING like the pair I found thrifted that are obviously not new (at least 2-3 years old).

I wonder what happened in between then and now.

@Erika: @save. spend. splurge.: Hard to say. I’m pretty sure that they are handmade so perhaps that could account for the difference. The pair I saw fit like a glove, but they were green hair on hide so I knew I wouldn’t wear them enough to justify the purchase. The only reason these were discounted is because a tiny bit of hair had flaked off one heel. I had to look very hard to find the defect.
