In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: Where I am obsessed with Tommy Hilfiger’s Penthouse

Tommy Hilfiger’s Manhattan penthouse is as magnificent as you can imagine. Just look at this fabulous library.

I have a sample of this YSL Tatouage lipstick and it is incredible — it lasts pretty well, feels great on the lips (not drying) and is very pigmented.

The most common side hustles in America…. but about this #sidehustle thing, is it really all that healthy? Americans are already overworked and do not take vacation time as they should (via Forbes).. What do we need all this side hustle money for? To buy more stuff that will break in 2 months and we will keep paying for the next 5-10 years for? Maybe it is better to take a step back and re-evaluate.

Time to introduce one of my all-time favourite Etsy jewelery designers – Christina Rose – but I am not even a “bohemian” kind of girl. Yet, her stuff is just stunning.

Divorce advice from 9 women…. It is not as taboo these days, but it is emotionally, mentally and financially painful, sometimes devastating.

This Mara Hoffman piece is the kind of gorgeous dress I can imagine a modern Audrey Hepburn or Jackie Kennedy wearing…

Medical professional (including Pharmacists) and Tech careers are where you need to be if you want to make bank.

This Cloth & Stone sleeveless white button down blouse is perfect for summer. I keep adding and removing it from my basket,

10 Crazy Rich Asian Influencers…. can you tell I am obsessed? 🙂

I bought this under $20 13″ palm print laptop case from iCasso, and I really like it — the colours are bright, and my only qualm is the quality is obviously not like the $60+ InCase brands, and it does smell a little (the smell fades), but for under $20 I cannot complain.

Millionaire at 36 after getting out of $60K of student debt in 18 months, a little over a decade earlier, using TheBudgetingTool.com. Since then, I have paid my $600K home in cash (my half was $300K), my $180K casr in cash, worked 50% of my career (taking 1-2 year breaks), and quadrupled my income within 2 years of graduating, going from $65K to $260K with an average lifetime savings rate of 50%. I could retire today if I wanted, but love my work-life balance as a freelancing consultant in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). I am all about balance - between time and money, and also enjoying my money. I also post daily on Instagram @saverspender.

The side hustle article…by far the biggest one was selling things online (eBay, etsy, Craigslist). Unless you’re a power seller or running one of the top stores, for the vast majority of people, that is not a huge commitment in terms of hours and work and it could easily be part of something you were doing anyway (decluttering, or a hobby like crafting or collecting). Same thing with the people consigning their stuff.

Agreed, that is the most sustainable one for me.

The other ones take way more time… and energy.

The TH penthouse is amazing. I find it interesting that you’re drawn to it despite it’s very non-minimalist decor.

I am an odd bird. I like and appreciate it but couldn’t live there.
