Top 6 Posts of Save. Spend. Splurge.

I find it immensely interesting that my top posts have nothing to do with money, but as Revanche has pointed out once, she doesn’t see me as a real PF blogger any more* (LOL)…

(*Not in a mean way. In like a: You have flogged this dead PF horse so many times, there’s not much more you can blog about.)

So without ado, my top 6 posts of all time on Save. Spend. Splurge.

  1. 10 Reasons why a Minimalist Futon rocks (My futon comes from here)
  2. How I lived in a hotel full-time for cheaper than renting
  3. Principles of a Minimalist Wardrobe
  4. The Ideal Household Budget
  5. Almost Rich: Earning $160,000 a year and barely making it

Sherry of Save. Spend. Splurge.

Millionaire at 36 after getting out of $60K of student debt in 18 months, a little over a decade earlier, using TheBudgetingTool.com. Since then, I have paid my $600K home in cash (my half was $300K), my $180K casr in cash, worked 50% of my career (taking 1-2 year breaks), and quadrupled my income within 2 years of graduating, going from $65K to $260K with an average lifetime savings rate of 50%. I could retire today if I wanted, but love my work-life balance as a freelancing consultant in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). I am all about balance - between time and money, and also enjoying my money. I also post daily on Instagram @saverspender.

Ha! I was just searching out your futon post a few weeks ago to share with a friend who was thinking of buying a futon mattress. I knew you’d point to the best supplier 😉

That makes it sound like I was being really mean to you! But I think both you and I are Finance Plus, and that’s a good thing 😉
