In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: Why your Botox is going to cost more now

1. FROWNING

Inflation is finally hitting Botox, and everywhere, clinics are going to raise their prices to combat it. The urgency to get Botox and surgery because now you’re on a Zoom call working from home, without a Ring light to help smooth out your imperfections, has died down, but the demand has remained steady for surgery and so on.

2. COMIC RELIEF

If you want books for children (comic ones that is), that also teach very important concepts that are sometimes difficult to broach such as Consent (Bodily and otherwise), this is your author. I have both of her books and Little Bun reads them for fun, and has really absorbed her lessons about bodily autonomy and consent, along with how to manage anxiety.

3. PROMISING

“The Promise“, a commercial by Barilla has been making the rounds with Roger Federer as the star. I won’t spoil it, it’s just so good. I dare you not to cry.

4. STANDING UP

I purchased this incredible Moft Phone Grip because it was the slimmest, most minimalist phone grip I could find that could also be used to stand up your phone as portrait or landscape style .. as well as hold THREE cards to double as your essential wallet. I really like it. Highly recommended.

5. TWINNING

You’re a twin. Of sorts. A study came out about how your doppelgänger (I love how we repurpose words from other languages in English), actually shares quite a bit of your DNA!!

That is wild. It means that someone who looks like me (and for sure, in a population of billions there is someone who does), shares my DNA.

6. BEJEWELLED

If you are into jewellery.. I highly recommend this mouth-watering book on it. Such wonderful photographs, and interesting ideas, and beautiful pieces of jewellery. It’s a great coffee table book or just to pick up and flip through on any day.

7. KFC BUNS

As in.. Korean Fried Chicken buns. This recipe looks SO GOOD.

If you like cooking channels, I highly recommend Cooking with Lau as he is a wonderful Cantonese chef and the whole vibe of this channel is so friendly and sweet.

8. SOUNDING OFF

Small, compact, gorgeous and with a FABULOUS clarity I have not heard in an external Bluetooth speaker in years, I bought and absolutely adore my Bang and Olufsen Second Generation A1 speaker. It doesn’t sound muffled at all, and the sound is so clear and wonderful. I can finally watch things on my phone with a PROPER speaker rather than a crappy one.
