In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: Where these are some things you can do at work to step up
I really appreciate the work and the COOL factor that went into this guy’s business card. I think it is incredible. Speaking of business cards, I need to have some made…
I picked out and purchased The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% to see if I can use it to replace my more expensive version.
I am naturally bossy and take-charge, or as my friend calls it: assertive & very cool, but some of you may need to read how to take back control in a conversation when you’re being interrupted or talked over often.
Have you ever tried these acne patches? I am being seduced into possibly buying some to help heal my pimples overnight. Anyone?
If you need more help, here are three things you can do at work to step up your game.
I am a huge fan of totes. Like a HUGE fan. I can’t get enough of them in linen, leather, fabric… and I particularly have a penchant for waxed leather (waterproof!), like this waxed navy blue tote with simple leather handles that looks so simple & easy.
Speaking of careers, this is kind of sad that single women downplay their career ambitions when they think it’ll be a better chance for them to find love. ๐ I can kind of see this though.
I really do love these Revlon ColourBurst lipsticks, so I am so sad they’re discontinued but I am happy to find them on Amazon if I need to.
This is absolutely true, and a raw, real look at what it is like to be a working, ambitious mother. I am not quite as famous or ambitious but honestly, I do think my life is very full as-is, particularly if you count blogging as a “hobby” that has a commitment of a full-time job (or more).
That said, I fully support women who are single by choice. There are a lot of misconceptions about women who do not want to have children and who are professional aunts.ย That said,ย I am fully honest in my Week of Money Spending Diaries that having a child is more than a full-time job. Once you get pregnant, you are in it for life.
STILL love these glasses. I have tried so many sunglasses without nose pads in different sizes and shapes, but these Ray Ban Cockpits are the ultimate. They’re so great I want to buy another pair to keep in the car so that I am never without a pair.

If you have a ton of visa rewards points you can get ray-bans for “Free”! ๐
My cousin got some and they look so sweet… gold ray-bans, very similar to the ones you’re lusting after. But my husband always reminds me that it makes more sense to spend the points on travel. Ugh. I want free sunnies!
