What’s your lucky outfit?

It is illogical to think that clothing can be ‘lucky’, but it does make you feel¬†good, which influences your confidence and works as an effective placebo.

Mine would be any of these.

My power outfits are mostly skirts and dresses. I really like dressing that way, but once in a while, wide-legged pants are also very comfortable and stylish. I love the swish of a good wide-legged pant.

All of my pieces are a mix of thrifted, consignment, low-end and higher-end pieces, that just fit well, look impeccable and make me feel good, which is the whole point.

What are some of your power outfits?

Sherry of Save. Spend. Splurge.

I got out of $60,000 of debt in 18 months using TheBudgetingTool.com. Since then, I have worked 50% of my career (taking 1-2 year breaks), and quadrupled my income within 2 years of graduating, going from $65K to $260K (savings rate = 85%). I could retire today if I wanted, but love my work-life balance as a freelancing consultant in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). I also post daily on Instagram @saverspender.
