Week of Money: Where Little Bun gives me a medal
DAY ONE
11:30 a.m. — A picture is worth a thousand words.
8:12 p.m. — He makes a little medal for me for remembering to put the toilet paper back after using it to de-grease the sink:
DAY TWO
9:15 a.m. — Little Bun says: LOOK! A HEART! I MADE A HEART WITH MY WIRES!.. by accident
2:25 p.m. — I watched a video where all the kids said their mother was the most beautiful person in the world. I thought I’d try it on Little Bun, and when I asked Little Bun who he thought was the most beautiful person:
With ZERO hesitation he said: “ME.”
My immediate response: LOL!!!.. and I told him – “YES. Love yourself first!”
That is actually the lesson I drilled into him since he was a toddler. To love HIMSELF first, before he loves anyone else, even his mother and father. He has to accept who he is, and be proud of who he is first and foremost. Not to look for approval from others around him.
DAY THREE
9:42 p.m. — He makes a ‘wig’ for the Biggest Pillow Stuffie out of his shirt, and asks me how he looks. I smile and say it looks great on him:
DAY FOUR
10:44 a.m. — On his workbook pages today he made this poem using the words from the page:
2:44 p.m. — This is an EXCELLENT documentary episode. Well worth a watch.
DAY FIVE
1:43 p.m. — More scam texts:
Amazon would never text you. Period. Same with your government, or bank. Look at the way Amazon is spelled to with the M as a different font as an uppercase small M
7:40 p.m. — We spend the night picking pomegranates, his favourite and mine:
DAY SIX
6:25 p.m. — He creates his own metro map, with names from the Montreal one, but with a twist:
DAY SEVEN
9:14 a.m. — We start the morning doing this fun exercise of seeing items and what could be chosen for when we want to battle the challenges of an army, or going through swamps. We had to pick items and calculate the weight to make sure it is 5kg or less of what we wanted to bring.
6:25 p.m. — He sets up a little note to remind himself to do this:
7:45 p.m. — And we play with the Stuffies while reading to them. He really likes this consent book which I can see is helping him frame / respond to requests even from us:
