In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: Where you should marry for money…
1. MARRY FOR MONEY
Well this was a surprise – an economist gives advice to “marry for money”, and all the benefits to marriage.
Now, it doesn’t say to just marry anyone, but no one can deny that being with someone else takes a lot of pressure off you for having to shoulder all the costs as a singleton…. but I would rather be single and be burdened with those costs, than with someone who isn’t a true and equal partner.
2. DRAGON VIBES
If you’re looking for a simple dragon choker, this one is beautiful from Alchemy England. You can find more elaborate (and more expensive, naturally) ones from Etsy but this one is pretty reasonably priced, and looks pretty good.
3. B FOR BAR
…. as in the Bar Suit from Dior, and the history about the jacket from the New Look collection from the 1940s.
4. SPOUTING OFF
If you love matcha and keep spilling it everywhere, I highly recommend the matcha bowl with a spout by Jade Leaf. No more spills. Pours beautifully. Great to use for mixing other liquids and then pouring them as well, instead of in your measuring cup.
5. DEFIANCE
I love this article on women over 70 defying stereotypes. The documentary is “Never Too Old“, and it was incredibly inspiring.
6. COUNTERFEIT
I have been unable to put this book by Kristen Chen – Counterfeit down from Page One. It really looks (fictionally, but based on truth), into the world of replica designer handbags and their scams.
