If you were totally comfortable with your body, what would you wear?
I don’t quite get the question.
I wear all that I want, but I suppose the limitation of my body type (inverted triangle) is I cannot wear anything with straps smaller than 2” without feeling slightly self-conscious that is looks weird on my broad shoulders (my eye sees the proportions are off and then I feel very awkward all day).
Therefore, spaghetti strap, slinky sort of loose billowy and yet hanging on by a few little string strap dresses are out for me but I do have an envy of women who wear them.
I also HAVE to wear a bra because I don’t feel comfortable otherwise, but hate it when the straps show, so I can’t do anything that is backless or intricately strappy that requires a strapless bra.
Lupita Nyong’o looks FABULOUS in this dress but I could never wear it, I’d feel so self conscious without straps.
(Also, strapless bras seem quite uncomfortable and shift, I have yet to find a wireless one with soft cups that hugs my torso instead).
Lastly, strapless things are out. Must have thick straps. See above.
Although I must note that lately I’ve been experimenting with one-shoulder strap items and it is a nice compromise. I could handle that if I could find a bra option that doesn’t annoy me.

I don’t wear anything sleeveless or strapless, crop tops or dresses with midriff cutouts. Don’t know how much these would actually be my personal style, but if I were physically comfortable, I’d probably wear em more. Also dresses without also wearing leggings.

More skirts, dresses. My legs are pasty and pale white because I don’t tan and I can never find comfortable shoes that go with dresses and skirts.
Tank tops, things that show my upper arms. I think they are not toned enough!
Crop tops. I have a small spare tire that I cannot get rid of…I would love a 6 pack (or even a 2-pack :)).

I’m quite comfortable with my body, but I suppose there are a few things I stay away from. I’m also an inverted triagle, 5′ 10″, but will go strapless and all widths of straps. I guess a tight cap-sleeve would make me look “linebacker-ish”. And of course, shoulder pads!
