What I listened to: Summer 2019 Edition

Be forewarned, my tastes in music are very eclectic. I like everything from hard rap to classical to pop..

Across the Universe – Fiona Apple

An oldie but a goodie. It’s my mother’s favourite song.

Whatever it Takes – Imagine Dragons

I like the hook the best —

Whip, whip
Run me like a racehorse
Pull me like a ripcord
Break me down and build me up
I wanna be the slip, slip
Word upon your lip, lip
Letter that you rip, rip
Break me down and build me up

Perfect People – The Walls Group

Such a fun, happy song.

House of Cards – Brandon & Leah

Beautiful song, very melodic and sweet.

Say It Ain’t So Bad – Brandon & Leah

I actually found out about these songs from watching Keeping up with the Kardashians, and it is such a good song. Calm, and lovely.

High Hopes – Panic! At the Disco

This is such an upbeat song, I LOVE IT. I listen to it on repeat.

Erys – Jaden Smith

Heard about this album drop from Coco Gauff during her interview for tennis.. 🙂

He is an exceptional young man, doing a lot of good for the world, which I think is a testament to how great his parents Will and Jada are.

SwajjurKicks – 10k Caash f. Lil Yachty

Heard this from an Instagram video and love the beat.

Robotics – ZaeHD & CEO

Again, love the beat.

16 Shots – Stefflon Don

Heard this from Katherine Ryan’s – The Glitter Room from her opening and it is AMAZING with the beat.

Mi Gente – J. Balvin, Willy William, Beyoncé

Another fun song, heard it mostly from Beychella.

I Get Money – O.T. Genasis

Also from Beychella..!

Grrrl Like – Dope Saint Jude

Off a European commercial of all places. I LOVE THIS SONG.

Worth It – Fifth Harmony f. Kid Ink

Did not know this song before but I love the beat and Camilla Cabella rocks

Cash Sh*t – Megan Thee Stallion

I only heard about “hot girl summer” so I Googled who was heading this and found this song..
