Save. Spend. Splurge.

Week of Money: Where Little Bun makes a cute pet whale

DAY ONE

11:08 a.m. — Honestly, this is why women have to be better with their money and more aware – here are 3 things every woman should have.

Basically, women need to step up and understand their money. It is their money too. To leave it to someone else, so blindly, to not have a budget, or understand where the money is going, and why, is truly a disservice to themselves.

We live longer, we get hit harder salary-wise when we have children whereas men get a boost for every child they have, and we also get sandwiched with Elder Care (our parents ageing).

Our money is really something we cannot afford to ignore. At the very least, knowing what you have, where it goes, and what you are doing to save for your future, is the bare minimum.

Women are not dumb with money.

Repeat after me.

WOMEN ARE NOT DUMB WITH MONEY.

DAY TWO

5:12 p.m. — It is really cool. I just wish he would use a ruler but I guess it looks cuter (?) without… more childlike.

DAY THREE

Then he feeds it again:

DAY FOUR

8:08 a.m. — Little Bun peers out the window. It’s snowing. I can’t take him out, and I feel terrible. It is too snowy, and people drive like there isn’t ice and snow, so there are MORE accidents for every day where it snows, until they get used to the idea that there is no racing in the streets (which takes 5-6 hours after the snow has stopped).

I feel bad. I wanted to take him out for a little Mommy and Me morning but we will go tomorrow I guess.

Instead, I play Catch with him in the bedroom, and we toss a sock ball back and forth between each other while we listen to music. It’s really a lot of fun.

DAY FIVE

ABSOLUTELY.

DAY SIX

9:25 p.m. — I finally log off work. I have actually been doing crazy hours for a a few weeks now, and I am getting very very tired. I am also working weekends, 12-hour days.

DAY SEVEN

8:25 p.m. — I log off from work again. My brain and body are drained each day, I do not know if I can keep this up beyond this month.
