Shopping: Best Neutral Lip Products – Lipgloss, Lipstick and Lip balms

Tarte Blush in Tipsy

Who says you can’t use blush as a lip product? It’s pretty light but it’s a nice shade and a bit sticky like a gloss.

Benetint Liquid Blush

This is what I use more as a lip stain, it’s a product meant for the cheeks and the lips.

I find it a bit pink for my liking for my cheeks at times (I have to tone it down by layering another blush), but I like it on my lips.

Jane Iredale Cream Blush in Chemistry

This blush is creamy and smells like cocoa. The colour Chemistry no longer exists but it’s such a pretty, neutral shade. I sometimes swipe it on instead of one of the other ones.

This is a great blush that is creamy on the lips. A better blush to use as a lip product.

NARS Velvet Matte in Cruella

Just so you can see what they look like beside a blue-red lipstick, I love this shade of Cruella by NARS for a pop of colour.

I’m normally NOT a fan of anything bright red but this one in particular is such a good shade for me, I’m very pleased with it.

NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien

I bought this as a lip colour for my mother as well. It’s such a pretty shade that is neutral and pink without being overwhelmingly so.

Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain – Honey

I LOVE this colour. It does leave a stain on my lips though (duh, lip stain) that is a little bit bright if you don’t re-layer this lip stain back on.

Very neutral, very pretty.

It is quite a close dupe to the NARS Rikugien as you’ve seen above.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter – Fig Jam

This is a killer dupe for Clinique’s Black Honey and it’s way cheaper. Very pretty.

It’s slightly darker than what I am used to but it goes on pretty sheer and looks a bit muddy and gross on my skin but is great on my lips (because your lips are more pink than your arm..)

Burt’s Bees – Hibiscus

Easy to wear and quite natural, it’s the lighter shade of the Clinique Black Honey dupe above by Revlon in Fig Jam.

Sugar Lip Balm in Rose

This one is an easy lip balm to wear in Rose. When I don’t want to think about it, I swipe this on. It also smells very sweet and citrusy.

Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer in Rhubarb

This is a stronger lip colour although not as strong as NARS Cruella, and it’s super pretty. I treat this one more like a lipstick however, because it’s a darker shade than the other balms and tints.
