In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: This Instagram Celeb scammed her followers into a pyramid scheme

When Influencers on Instagram use their fame to basically scam you; this woman sold a $500 course to her followers only to turn around and as part of the course, ask them to sell HER products — presets on Instagram, filters, etc.

I love the cosy look of these blue & white classic flannel stripe blankets. I’d love a few to throw around the bed but it would seem unnecessary, actually.

The biggest lies that women have ever told about their money…… “How much I have on credit cards. My husband has no clue. ” — Katie, 36

This egg cooker has changed my friend’s breakfast life…. She says her son can set up everything, and they all have it ready to eat without having to monitor a boiling pot of water.

It is Dhruti not Dorito.” and all the rude, awkwardness that comes with having a non-blatantly Anglo name being messed up and mispronounced all the time.

I am a SUCKER for magenta. And this magenta silk shirt, with a cute pussybow tie at the neck? OMG.

I loved watching this documentary about les sapeurs — The Congo Dandies: living in poverty and spending a fortune to look like a million dollars like $2000 J. M. Weston shoes.

I love simple, wrapped, jersey, comfortable and stylish dresses that can be dressed up or down. This Leith dress for $60 fits my idea of a perfect work dress.

Also, a big shoutout to one of my fave Canadian money bloggers who is doing a great roundup of her favourite bloggers.

Millionaire at 36 after getting out of $60K of student debt in 18 months, a little over a decade earlier, using TheBudgetingTool.com. Since then, I have paid my $600K home in cash (my half was $300K), my $180K casr in cash, worked 50% of my career (taking 1-2 year breaks), and quadrupled my income within 2 years of graduating, going from $65K to $260K with an average lifetime savings rate of 50%. I could retire today if I wanted, but love my work-life balance as a freelancing consultant in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). I am all about balance - between time and money, and also enjoying my money. I also post daily on Instagram @saverspender.

That dress would be far too short for me, sadly. I saw that scam instagrammer story somewhere – so bad

    Thanks for the mention!

For the egg cooker- I love using my Instant Pot, I just set it to like 6 minutes and I get perfect eggs each time. Even Ramen style eggs too!
