In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: A (hilarious look) at a $10K USD bag regret…
1. REGRETFUL
I absolutely adore Zarna Garg, and I only found her from her viral video where she is talking about her Hermès Jypsiere bag and how finicky it is. Watch it, because it’s hilarious…
As a side note, it is refreshing to see someone break the barriers of comedy. She is not at all what you’d typically expect a comedian to be, and yet, she is exactly the kind of comedian I want to watch.
2. BLISTER-FREE
Once I discovered these silicone toe covers, my walking has been blister-free. I put them on the second and fourth toes, and I have not had a single blister or painful rub between my toes since (and I walk long distances in an attempt to get healthier but also for environmental reasons rather than taking the car).
3. PARENTING
This is a sad tale to read about how a son would rather spend time with his nanny than his mother. Bottom line: Kids really don’t care how much you make and what you buy them as long as you spend time with them. Children can live without the fancy things, as long as they have love, shelter, food and clothing… and so it is sort of sad to read this lack of a parental bond. It makes me want to double down on Little Bun’s bonding.
4. BEJEWELLED
I love jewellery and this book has been the best one so far on the ones that made history. Full of great photos, fun captions and interesting notes.
5. ESTRANGEMENT
Speaking of parenting, there are rising cases of adult children cutting off their parents more than ever. 1 in 4 Americans are estranged from their parents, and at a higher rate to cut ties with their fathers over their mothers. (Mothers are particularly hard to cut out of your life… no matter how they have treated or are treating you. This is not an easy subject.)
6. SMELLY CAT
Want to get rid of odours in your clothes? I have tried everything from lavender to cedar, and the only thing that really absorbs and sucks the smell out are these activated charcoal sachets. It leaves behind such a clean, fresh and natural smell (I dislike fragrances and perfumes, and this does not bother me in the slightest), that I am even thinking if I break one open and vacuum the charcoal up, it would help deodorize my vacuum cleaner as well.
