In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: 200 countries in 200 years
1. 200
This is incredible. 4 minutes of stats in a very visual manner.
2. Drought
As in.. a Wife Drought. This book was eye-opening and extremely easy to read. It is incredible how much inequality is baked into work.
3. Father of Rice
Yuan Longping, the father if the hybrid high-yield rice that alleviated famine and poverty around the world, died in May. Here is his story.
4. Stuffed Cookies
I bought these stuffed cookies for my friend to cheer her up. I recommend the SKOR cookies as they’re my favourite but they’re all good.
5. Sushi
Following the rice theme, here is how to make sushi with Iron Chef Morimoto (I loved him the best during Iron Chef).
6. Bamboo salt
I saw a video on Bamboo salt and now I am interested in trying some to see what it tastes like.
7. First Class Food
Mark Wiens is an Eater. He is over the top, dramatic and he is flying First Class on AMA flying from Bangkok to L.A.
8. Gobblet
Advanced Tic-Tac-Toe is what I call this game. It’s a game called Gobblet where you can put X’s and O’s and cover them with larger cups to create a strategy to get lines.
