2021 Gifts & Shops List: Ethical, Local, Eco-Friendly & Interesting in Canada

**Updated for December 2nd 2021 to include Québec local shops

There are so many wonderful independent shops to buy from this year. Please consider them. I myself, am trying very hard to NOT buy from big box stores and retailers and to support smaller businesses. Plus, their stuff is awesome.

Please note a few things:

  • I have only shopped at the places I put a * at
  • Not all shops fit into one category  so browse!- some are clothing & home, some are accessories & home, etc.
  • This is by no means comprehensive, I will add them as I think of more places, etc.

GENERAL MARKETPLACES

*Not Amazon.co: Literally not Amazon, a listing of local companies by city, Montreal is not on there 🙁
