Save. Spend. Splurge.

In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: Spending $130K a year, and Grocery Savings

1. $130,000 SPEND

I love seeing how people spend their money, and their budget.

2. 10 MINUTES

.. is all you need to make a great meal. This cookbook is fantastic, by Gordon Ramsay. Jamie Oliver has one too, a 15-minute one.

3. STRETCHED OUT

Speaking of budgets, we are all feeling the pinch. This is how we are dealing with the crazy (!!) increase in groceries (just in our spending alone). The article says 11%. I call BS on that. My food costs have gone up 40%. It is not 11%. At this point, we are going to seriously consider starting a garden and having a few chickens.

4. ULTRA HIGH RISE

I am in love with this ultra-high rise jean from H&M. Reasonably priced, comfortable, and REALLY HIGH UP on your body for those of us who love that feel.

5. $1357.37

That’s the average amount Canadians are spending for a family of four up from $1065.60 from 2020. Tips on how to reduce are in the article… but as I mentioned above, I think it’s time to start seriously thinking of a garden, and a few chickens for eggs. That covers quite a lot already, if we do a good job of it.

6. JACQUARDY

How cute is this jacquard sweater!?….
