Save. Spend. Splurge.

In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: Shopping your own closet

1. ECO-SHOPPING

the best shopping is shopping in your own closet. I loved this article on sustainable shopping. The second best, is buying secondhand.

2. BOOKWORM

If you are in the market for an e-reader, this Kindle Oasis is by far, the best one I have ever had. The main benefit is its buttons to click back and forth on the pages, but also that I can hold it to read in my right or left hand.

3. REVAMP

Along the lines of the first article – this is how you revamp your closet. No one is against shopping 100% (myself included FOR SURE), but it is the mindless consumption of crap from Shein for instance, that is really too much. Conscientious Consumption FTW.

4. SALTED CARAMEL

I am obsessed. To the point of having purchased 20 packs of Blume’s Salted Caramel. I LOVE this drink. Not an ad, not sponsored. Just a huge fan.

5. UPCYCLING

And finally, if you have old clothing in your closet, maybe consider upcycling it like Herbie Mensah. I am seriously thinking about taking some sewing lessons, buying a machine, and learning how to upcycle of create my own things out of what I have. It is SO COOL to see these pieces get a new life.

6. ELEGANT

I have not seen a prettier footstool than this pink one with gold legs. All I need now, is a room that I can block off to call my own as my own office to put it in.
