I highly do not recommend banking with them. They are not worth the hassle and trouble from personal experience.
They “lost” my $2500 credit card payment and then it took me 6 weeks and constant calling/tweeting to get back that money AND have them compensate the credit card interest charges incurred because of their ineptitude.
The frustration, stress and pain they put me through with absolutely no certainty I would get my money back, brought me to the brink of calling a lawyer to ask what could be done.
It was that bad and they are that incompetent.
I hate this bank.
I will never bank with them, or their affiliates again – Laurentian Bank, B2B bank and will actively avoid them like the plague which includes NOT investing in their stock either as a dividend investor.
I will also actively discourage anyone who is thinking of investing or banking with them. I’m not the only one who feels this way. They are the WORST of the WORST in customer service and general trustworthiness.
I almost thought for a moment they had stolen my money and were hesitating on giving it back.
I had to go all the way up their stupid bureaucratic chain to obtain any kind of traction in my case and use my platform to get them to respond.
It is like they thought I would just “forget” about that $2500 payment and let it slide, with the way they were treating me and the case.
I even called the government of Canada to see what my options were to file some sort of report, complaint or charge against them.
Never. Ever. Again.
