The first half is all the books I read & recommend.
The second half are books I started reading / read but do not think highly enough of to recommend (although some I had to finish simply because I got too invested in what was happening and needed to know the ending).
No book links because I thoroughly encourage you to use a library or a local, independent bookseller and absolutely by all means possible, avoid Indigo/Chapters, and Amazon.
If you need one that delivers in Canada, I very much like McNally Robinson. They can order any book you like.
WHAT I RECOMMEND
Gwyneth: Amy Odell
An excellent biography on Gwyneth Paltrow. I am not particularly enamoured with her, but her outfits do have a certain something when I see what she wears and how she wears it. She seems so unflappable, and calm.. it was interesting to see who and what made her to who she is today. It was a very good read because the author – Amy Odell – is superlative at weaving words to bring you into her story.
Mrs. Jeffries: Amy Brightwell Books 7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-16
Yes, we have almost 40 books and I am up to #16 now. I just like how these easy, cosy murder mysteries are sometimes difficult to decipher but nonetheless, a lot of fun to read.
The Last Mrs. Parrish: Liv Constatine
I had to reread the first book to be able to read the next one, to be brought back up to speed as to what happened. This is why I hate reading books without their sequels and endings already published and ready to go. I have to go back and reread it all!
The Next Mrs. Parrish: Liv Constatine
This sequel was satisfying but not quite as good as the first one of course; being that the first one was a real mental thriller, and this one was just trying to bring the whole situation to a conclusive end (which it did, in my opinion). I really enjoyed it.
