3 Useful Purchases I Have Made Lately: Part 2

1. Portable rechargeable defuzzer

Exactly as it says. A portable, rechargeable by USB-C clothes defuzzing device that helps remove pills while on vacation (I mean, if you plan on bringing a lot of items that pill a lot that is …. or professionally, would like to keep your career conference clothes looking sharp), or if you want to keep them at the office for emergencies; I would, I am really that nitpicky… a wrinkled or pilled item of clothing would ruin my look and then my mood and how I feel based on how I present myself, to be honest.

Along with that, I would say a portable (not rechargeable) clothes steamer is also a must for traveling at least.

2. Portable travel steamer

I use this portable clothes steamer and I am amazed at how fast it heats up – NO MORE WAITING! It also doesn’t spit or drip on me, and the heat that comes out of it is serious.

Please note – it is not a substitute for ironing. If you have thick cotton clothes, you will definitely need an iron, a clothes steamer won’t cut it, but it is good for lighter fabrics with wrinkles you can release easily…

3. Portable kettle

With a portable kettle, you can cook quite a lot of things like ramen in your hotel room, or having your own tea.

I won’t drink tea outside of the home, unless it is looseleaf tea that I can see in a strainer, or it is a specific brand I can search and check for microplastics because teabags are a huge problem for nanoplastics entering your bloodstream and body.

Side note: Of course, your body does expel the nanoplastics but who knows how much of it stays in your body and travels up to your brain? I am not taking chances so I carry my own tea bags, sometimes my own loose leaf tea and strainer.

But.. I need a kettle, and I will be damned if I use anything offered for free in a hotel room like a coffee maker or kettle because it is simply disgusting if you search what people do with these things. I am forever scarred and traumatized by how gross people are.

I would even go as far as to use this at the office so that if people are doing weird, gross things to the office kettle, I have my own and my own peace of mind.
