Week of Money: Where Little Bun invents a game called “Life”
DAY ONE
11:24 a.m. — I tell Little Bun of all the Cuties I have in my camera roll like: Egg yolk eating Cutie, Winter Cutie, Sleepy Cutie…
Little Bun: They all look the same! They’re all the same Cutie!
Me: Oh really? No I don’t think so. Sleeping Cutie is so different from Stop Motion Cutie!
Little Bun: THEY ARE THE SAME. They’re all me!!
Me: No. I think you’re mistaken. They’re all the different types of Cuties. My favourite might be Spot Stealing Cutie (a video of him the Cutie stealing my spot in bed under the blanket)
Little Bun: THEY ARE ME! I’m the Cutie!
Me: Hmm. Incorrect. They’re all different Cuties I love. 🙂
Little Bun: THEY LOOK THE SAME!!!! *laughing*
DAY TWO
12:15 p.m. — Lunch! I made duck rolls.
5:10 p.m. — We have a fruit plate for dessert.
DAY THREE
10:25 a.m. — This is so true:
DAY FOUR
8:08 p.m. — We are getting into playing board games at night to Christmas music:
9:25 p.m. — He makes a 3D bow. It’s actually quite sophisticated.
DAY FIVE
7:18 p.m. — During dinner, Little Bun says:
“Wow time has gone by so quickly, usually I notice it by nighttime because you’re thinking: WHERE DID THE DAY GO
Or when you’re doing stuff and time goes by quickly
Not like when you’re bored or if you have to wait in line for the bathroom then time really goes by slowly!”
8:36 p.m. — After dishes, we play the game of life he made up where they play cards on themselves or each other. For instance, the FBI card a Stuffie holds, could be used on someone else and if they catch a Stuffie with a Trickster card, they get money, but if they catch another Stuffie who holds an FBI agent card, they lose money. It’s pretty well thought out and very cute. Plus he has to do math to add and remove money as people lose. The one with the biggest pot on the end, wins.
DAY SIX
10:08 a.m. — I administer a quick test to see where he is at in terms of knowledge for Grade 6 in Ontario.
DAY SEVEN
8:08 a.m. — He’s doing his workbook:
