The Perfect Summer Capsule Wardrobe and its Accessories

This is pretty much what I have been living in the entire summer:

:: high-rise skinny jeans ::

I wear them as-is with ballet flats, wedges or cuffed with booties.

:: printed maxi dress ::

Always a quick and easy all-in-one outfit.

:: breezy tank shell top ::

The perfect, breezy but still not-super-casual tank shell top to wear over jeans or that skirt and with a topper to head to work or out for an event.

:: striped cotton tank top ::

This striped cotton tank would go well with the skirt or jeans, with or without the topper.

:: casually elegant wrap midi skirt ::

A wonderful wrap midi skirt that can be worn with ballet flats or wedges.

:: a light topper or cardigan ::

A topper for cooler summer nights.

:: long statement necklace ::

A lovely long necklace for the summer to be light and breezy rather than something heavy and flashy.

:: simple minimalist men’s watch ::

A bare watch is sometimes all you need.

:: light summer tote ::

To carry around everything you need plus that water bottle.. or to head to the beach.

:: suede booties ::

Surprisingly versatile, I’m really warming up to these booties with cuffed jeans or with a dress / skirt.

:: classy casual wedge sandals ::

Always amps up ANY outfit, the minute you slide these on.

:: ballet flats ::

A staple shoe.

What are your summer essentials?

Am my own Sugar Daddy. Am a millionaire at 36 after getting out of $60K of student debt in 18 months, a little over a decade earlier, using TheBudgetingTool.com. I have worked 50% of my career (taking 1-2 year breaks), and quadrupled my income within 2 years of graduating, going from $65K to $260K with an average lifetime savings rate of 50%. I have 11 side incomes that are on track in 2020 to make me $50K - $75K. I’m with you – except the skinny jeans & booties – way too hot in summer for me to have something skin tight! But I wear shorts which I know you don’t, so that’s an option (always more ‘tailored’ styles though). Booties – my feet get so hot (I can manage boots for work but even in summer I try to avoid them too often.)

      I wear booties for the summer because this one has been particularly cool… otherwise you’re right, they can be stifling.

      Thank you! I actually really hate shorts, but you can sub in shorts instead of a skirt 🙂

    I love that ballet shoes. I’m a big fan of flat shoes, I feel very comfortable whenever I wear anything as long as it flat shoes.
