Save. Spend. Splurge.

Thank you. This made my whole year.

THANK YOU <3

I really appreciate these notes, and even if you don’t say anything or write to me at all, but have faithfully read since my Fabulously Broke in the City days, I SEE YOU.

This blog has been an offshoot from those FBITC days, and a different, more mature, version of who I used to be. Hopefully for the better.

I’m always open to hearing from you, I hope you all know that. Contact information here, or you can drop Anonymous notes too if you’re shy.

Thank you for making this so much fun. I have learned so much more from all of you than you’ll ever know.

Hi! Chiming in with the same sentiment. Been a long time reader since FBITC and started investing because of you. Girl keep on rocking this. I don’t know what to say except your writings challenge my assumptions and push me to be better as an investor and a professional. (And a mom!) Definite role model.

I agree with the above statements 100% Reading your blogs have inspired me to go back to school and start a new career in the STEM field. Your blogs have shown that a woman can work in the technical field and not have to sacrifice herself to the point of losing one’s sanity. Your investing and budgeting bulletins are very well-made, meticulous and realistic. Your blogs have shown the chaos, logical and emotional chapters of a career woman’s life who is balancing family and just life in general. Whether these written blogs are a true reflection of your life (or not), I have over the years learned a lot from them. The few women who have graduated with me last May can learn so much from your blogs.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I definitely hope to present an honest view of what it’s like to live the way I do.

As for the written blogs being a true reflection — they are. I may not have gone into sensitive talks my partner and I have, or avoided certain subjects as they are very personal, but I have written everything truthfully / accurately to the way my life has unfolded, especially in the Week of Money posts.

Please share the love 🙂 I’d love to have more people reading and learning / asking questions. It is what drives me to write.
