Style Shopper: Parker Easton Leather Jackets in Navy and Black Leather Knitted Moto Biker

STYLE SHOPPER

You can read all of my clothing reviews here under Style Shopper.

You can read other reviews of other brands of leather jackets here from Muubaa, All Saints and m0851.

MY BODY TYPE & SHOPPING PREFERENCES

I am normally a US 4 on bottoms (designer US 4, Banana Republic 2).

I’m an inverted triangle and normally wear an Small or 2 (smallest sizes in all mainstream brands except for designer brands where I usually take a US 4.

I am also 5’6″ and fairly slim overall. Small busted (A cup).

I will say for my shoulders I ALWAYS take a US 6 in designer brands, or a US 4 in Banana Republic for instance, because my shoulders are large and my body is slim.

I am super picky and hate itchy items, too-tight things and anything that doesn’t look or feel expensive and wonderful.

$9 is $90 is $900.

The price makes no difference to me.

PARKER EASTON NAVY BLUE LEATHER JACKET

The Parker Easton Leather Jacket is still available for sale here (ON SALE!)…..

DRESSING ROOM FIT & REVIEW

Size Taken

Extra-Small

WHY I BOUGHT IT

LOVE me a good neutral navy blue leather jacket because it goes with everything.

QUALITY 5/5

Perfection. It is lined and it is so warm and thick I wear it like a sweater.

FIT / CUT 5/5

Buttery soft leather, perfect minimalist moto cut, great pocket placement and hits right where it is at the hip rather than being too long or too cropped.

I don’t even need to size up to a small because of my US 6 shoulders but US 4 body.

SIZING

I thought the Small fit better in the shoulders but someone told me the Extra-Small is better in a leather jacket because it stretches.

This particular jacket as vents at the back at the shoulders to let my arms and shoulders have a bit of give, so actually, I don’t need a Small for the shoulders.

COLOUR

Aquarius is the colour and it is a nice navy blue.

See — shoulder vents at the back to help with the size of my shoulders being larger than the body..

PARKER BLACK LEATHER MOTO BIKER JACKET WITH KNITTED CABLE BACK

DRESSING ROOM FIT & REVIEW

Size Taken

Small

WHY I BOUGHT IT

I love the brand Parker so much I found a retro version of their jackets. The leather is not quite as soft as the navy blue one I recently bought at retail above, but this thrifted version is just as great.

It’s a classic biker moto jacket, down to the little pocket in front, the snaps at the collars and zips all over the place.

Best of all, KNITTED CABLE BACK (not lined), and KNITTED under the arms (not lined either)

QUALITY 4/5

I think the older Parker jackets are NOT quite as soft and buttery as their new ones. This black leather jacket is a little stiffer and shinier than the buttery soft navy blue one I bought above recently.

FIT / CUT 4/5

I took the Size S in this (which she called a US 4 online), and it fits well, just a bit big in the shoulders because it has a knitted back so it stretches.

SIZING 4/5

Again, I took a small, it was a secondhand piece, not retail so I didn’t buy the XS, but I would have taken the XS if it existed, I just couldn’t resist the gorgeous black classic moto biker jacket with the straps at the bottom to buckle, and the KNITTED CABLE sweater back!

COLOUR

Perfection in black.

Knitted sweater back!!!

Even knitted under the arms.

Yes, I definitely used this lint shaver I bought recently to help clean up the pilling.

Classic badass biker.

That navy blue leather jacket is perfection on you. I can’t imagine it looking better on anyone. I really like the way you styled it.

Love the blue but the black absolutely takes the cake! It’s perfection. Classic moto jacket with an interesting twist.

The Budgeting Tool

About Me

I am a wealth-obsessed, style-focused, minimalist.

I got out of $60,000 of debt in 18 months with The Budgeting Tool which I now sell online and donate its net proceeds to charity, along with The Investing Tool.

I've also authored two books: Start a Blog Like a Boss - Making $1000 USD a month & Invest your Money Like a Boss - In 4 Hours a Year.

I earn like a princess when I work but am trying hard to live like a duchess instead by not spending all of it.

The rest of the time I relax and enjoy the time off by traveling, although traveling has been on hold lately with the arrival of Little Bun, my rambunctious, ever-hungry little boy.

Welcome.
