Sherry’s #OOTD Outfit of the Day Style & Fashion Look: White Summery Fresh Look

I post my outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) under this Style category #OOTD Daily Style and then I do a summary of all the looks in my Month of Style roundup at the end of the month.

White Summery Fresh Look

The summery white dress is PERFECT and a staple in any wardrobe, frankly. I have a few white dresses, and I can’t seem to get enough. They go with sandals, heels, colourful items, and any accessories are PERFECT with this look. White is a blank canvas.

I found an almost exact match dress at Ann Taylor but in very limited sizes (0 and 4), but this one from Banana Republic looks a little more trench-y, and just as cute. I’m actually putting it in my shopping basket as we speak, because it’s Tencel and that’s one of my favourite fabrics to wear. I also found another similar one from Banana Republic here, but without buttons, just a tie (just as cute).

I also find these strappy summer sandals ridiculously comfortable. They’re almost 4″, but they’re SO COMFORTABLE because it’s all in suede and like a cage heel, in the sense of feeling like the shoe won’t come off your foot, and it just fits like a glove. I also chose a clutch because I liked the burgundy as a neutral and not to constantly match everything (matchy-matchy is too much for me).

The accessories here are also vintage pieces, and the bangle was thrifted, but the necklace was not, it was purchased secondhand off Poshmark (use code SHERRYISH for $15!), and it has little tiny turquoise beads hanging off the ends.

This is a basic summer b*tch look. White dress + heels. Can’t go wrong. I decided on a burgundy clutch because I didn’t want it to be brown to be too matchy-matchy again, and burgundy is not that far off from brown, in terms of the colour wheel. The necklace has very light turquoise accents, but I consider that a neutral, considering how small the beads are.
