I am going to start posting my daily outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) instead of on Instagram especially after the SNAFU, and then doing a summary/Month of Style roundup at the end, like usual.
The Totally 100% Secondhand Work Look
These 100% secondhand looks can be kind of rare because I normally have one or two pieces (mostly accessories) that are secondhand, but an ENTIRE outfit? It would all have to align.
Definitely one of my favourite looks. The Taylor Dress by MM Lafleur is hands down my favourite work dress because the draping is impeccable to show off my waist, plus it has deep pockets, hidden by the folds.
This entire look is secondhand, and the bag is a vintage Salvatore Ferragamo I had stalked on Poshmark because I was looking for a summer straw bag that wasn’t a straw bag, but something more durable. I came across this, and fell and in love. $200? SOLD!
The necklace is by Napier, a vintage brand. It’s actually selling on Etsy and Ebay but for $200+. I got mine for $55 on Poshmark (includes the shipping) because either she didn’t know it should be priced higher, or simply she just wanted to get rid of it after she thrifted it. Either way, we both win. Here’s what it looks like up close:
Lastly, and hard to say (but in future posts, once I get through my old pictures, I’ll take detail shots), a YSL arty ring in a light shell pink to set the look off.
Oh, and my ubiquitously comforable Manolos.
