Sherry’s #OOTD Outfit of the Day Style & Fashion Look: The Tomboy Look

I post my outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) under this Style category #OOTD Daily Style and then I do a summary of all the looks in my Month of Style roundup at the end of the month.

I am forcing myself out of my comfort zone with these sneakers and a sloppily tied oversized striped shirt to try something new.

I started only with the yellow dress as the base, and I wanted to have a striking striped blue and white top that would go SO WELL with the yellow as a bold contrast.

I decided against a really tight striped top, or something more fitted because I was also set on trying to make this very feminine dress be less so, and to make it more tomboy-ish.

The rings of course, are very feminine because I had Little Bun pick them out – he loves these rings because he knows the Love Ring is for him, I bought it with him in mind because I love him so.

I knew I wanted to add sneakers with this. To really ram home the message of “THIS IS A TOMBOY LOOK but feminized!”, and being in a gold colour, they’re glamorous without being overly so.

(They’re also a size larger than what I wear but I don’t care because they’re comfy regardless.)

I like the mix of the gold with the yellow as well, it seems to go together, like a metallic touch that also ties in with the gold rings.
