Sherry’s #OOTD Outfit of the Day Style & Fashion Look: The Tennis Lady Look

I post my outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) under this Style category #OOTD Daily Style and then I do a summary of all the looks in my Month of Style roundup at the end of the month.

There’s something about this dress that makes me think of tennis outfits, with tipped white all around this dress. Like those old-timey outfits where they had long pleated white skirts, white headbands, and tried to be dainty on the court.

To tone down on the “Lady” vibe of this look, I put an unexpected obi belt in black leather, and studded by yours truly (I went through a black stud phase where I studded everything in sight with black studs).

I think it gives a different vibe altogether, something less delicate.

Can I talk about how much I love the laser cut pleats and the pattern in this skirt? And how much I really love these camel spot heels? Camels obviously don’t have spots like leopards but this is exactly the kind of animal print I like – a non-animal, animal-esque print.

Et voilà. I do think I need to get a pair of very light nude suede or leather heels of some sort.
