Sherry’s #OOTD Outfit of the Day Style & Fashion Look: “The Row Head to Toe”

I post my outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) under this Style category #OOTD Daily Style and then I do a summary of all the looks in my Month of Style roundup at the end of the month.

The Row Head to Toe

Well.. almost head to toe.

The necklace and heels are not The Row, but my favourite mainstream brand for heels which is BR because they’re SO comfortable and wonderful (my true love for heels are Manolo Blahnik). …but it is pretty close. The sweater is the phenomenal The Row Amherst Sweater still selling in stores for $1350 USD. It’s a stunning sweater, just look at the sweater!

The sleeves are very slightly batwing, which is a silhouette that I am currently obsessed with, along with bishop or balloon sleeves, and this dolman style, is my cup of tea. It looks fantastic, and still fitted at the sleeves without being too fitted.

It also has this kind of subtle back pleat that is flowy and gorgeous. If I could afford all the other colours for the same price, I’d snap them all up. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

The heels are actually secondhand, and an older version of Banana Republic which explains why a size 7 fits more like a 7.5. Note to self: Vintage/older Banana Republic heels fit half a size LARGER…… I just need to put a little back heel padding and my favourite one are these from Foot Petals, because the fabric is not going to cause a blister (yes, some heel pads actually do this), and they truly grip the back of your heels.

I saw this bright, deep green pendant stone necklace from the store and paid full price. It’s dark green, like an emerald, and just a beautiful piece of jewellery. It is also subtle and minimalist without being too over the top or in your face.

Also, these leather leggings are so worth it. They’re from The Row, an they don’t stretch or bag out at all. I have tried vegan leather leggings before and I find them too plasticky and rubbery, especially if your legs are encased in them. In a skirt, no problem, but jackets and pants, need to be real leather so that it can breathe and not feel like you’re going to collect pools of sweat inside your legs (eww!)

The quality of these leather leggings are also top notch as they are double-bonded leather, and act like a fabric but is a leather legging.

The entire outfit came together only because I wanted to wear an oversized sweater with a pair of leather leggings. That’s it. I wanted to channel my inner Olsen Twin and it’s only fitting their designer brand The Row pieces are exactly what achieved this look for me. I was kind of going for this vibe, but with an oversized sweater instead, and no platform heels because I think they look trashy no matter who wears them and how tall you get; also you can’t feel the ground when your toes walk in platforms.
