Sherry’s #OOTD Outfit of the Day Style & Fashion Look: The Olivia Palermo Neutral Inspo

I post my outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) under this Style category #OOTD Daily Style and then I do a summary of all the looks in my Month of Style roundup at the end of the month.

You know how I have been so obsessed with this look by Olivia Palermo? Her outfit was likely 100% from Mango as she’s in front of their board, but I didn’t want to go the fast fashion route.

I RECREATED IT! The shirt is not the shiny silk (satin?) of hers, and the pants aren’t cuffed, and I didn’t want to wear a belt with this (maybe I should have), but I love the look of these two super classic pieces together.

The only thing I was missing were the camel pants because I didn’t own a single pair. I do not love camel pants normally, as they make you look naked if they’re fitted; so the fact that they’re wide-legged, and such a classic pair in camelhair by Max Mara, just is the icing on the cake:

I decided to go with a single vintage gold cuff, with a croc-embossed look to it because it all goes together – beige, tan, camel, caramel tones…

I also thought the dark brown heels would be too dark, so I went with a gingerbread leather instead:

YES! I should probably have tried to layer on MORE gold cuffs now that I look at it.

I may try to actually recreate it for real with the belt and so on…
