Sherry’s #OOTD Outfit of the Day Style & Fashion Look: The Mermaid Look

I post my outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) under this Style category #OOTD Daily Style and then I do a summary of all the looks in my Month of Style roundup at the end of the month.

THIS. SHIRT.

THIS. SHIRT IS EVERYTHING. The pink is gorgeous, the bright colour is just stunning, and the silk is the best quality I have worn in a long time. It has a light stretch to it, and I love how it looks as a pop of colour.

I mixed the magenta pink with the teal green because to me, that’s the perfect combination.

I even got to bust out my DIY Asteria ring (you can read all about how I made this ring here), as it has colours that fit the top perfectly, like a hint of blue, dark magenta, pink….. and so on.

I love the ring against the skirt as a real pop of colour. The skirt has really pretty detailing in the front as well, which shows off the curve of the skirt.

This vintage skirt by the way, is such a find. I was in the thrift store and the minute I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I love the deep pockets, the mermaid sheen/shimmer and the range of colours that just shift with the light & add dimension.

Love. A definite work-appropriate outfit with the heels, but I could have worn this with flats as well.

When you buy secondhand, outfits become a heck of a lot cheaper.
