Sherry’s #OOTD Outfit of the Day Style & Fashion Look: The Luxe Park Ranger Look

I post my outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) under this Style category #OOTD Daily Style and then I do a summary of all the looks in my Month of Style roundup at the end of the month.

This is such a comfortable outfit. I mean.. SO COMFORTABLE. I am basically layering myself in cashmere.

I have the cashmere peeking out of the khaki coat because I like the look of mixing two textures (cotton + cashmere), and showing the different layers as pops of colour / interest. This is why I ALWAYS tend to roll up my blazer or coat sleeves.

This is just like my golden Ruth Bader Ginsburg necklace, but in silver. They no longer make them, but they do make this smaller Pegasus version if this is too much of a statement piece for you.

I know the gold crystals don’t match the necklace (gold + silver?) but for some reason it seems to match, and lighten the look. I do have a dark grey crystal version of the same ring I could have swapped it out for instead if I wanted to match more to the outfit or the look of it..

Lastly, cuffed the jeans (also another style trick I like), and added some moss green suede heels (super comfy, but about half a size too large as they’re vintage Banana Republic and they made the sizes larger back then I suspect).

These heels are the most comfortable mainstream heels I wear.

I like the juxtaposition of the casual khaki trench coat against a soft, cosy cashmere, and then a statement piece that is very metallic to mix all sorts of materials together. Some glam in the ring (crystals in gold), and suede heels, adds one more texture to the entire look, while the moss green ties into the khaki green jacket.

Result? Metal + Cashmere + Cotton + Suede + Crystal ….

I have 11 side incomes that are on track in 2020 to make me $50K - $75K. Ah, those green heels again! I am now seriously considering getting a pair in similar colour myself, they seem to work nicely with quite a few different outfits.

I prefer suede as a leather, they’re the most comfortable, least amount of blistering too 🙂
