Sherry’s #OOTD Outfit of the Day Style & Fashion Look: “The Goth Runs an Errand”

I post my outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) under this Style category #OOTD Daily Style and then I do a summary of all the looks in my Month of Style roundup at the end of the month.

The Goth Runs an Errand

I knew I wanted to play some more with this lace black shirt I got (it comes with that black tie sash you see hanging down), and since I can’t wear the shirt by itself (it’s SEE THROUGH), I threw a black tank top over it and pulled the ties through:

I kind of like the look. It gives me a ruffled black lace sleeve that is a bit loose and not so tight or fitted, and the black tank top is like a fluid dark charcoal grey which picks up the black.

Added the gunmetal cuff on there to match with all the black, and some tough looking rings like a Roman soldier’s helmet along with a jagged crystal shards ring to round off this Goth-y Suburban Neighbourhood look (that’s where the jeans and the gold sandals come in).

Retro gold, sample production sandals that never made it to actual production (it’s a sample size, one of a kind), and the contrast of the antique gold with the black lace? Perfection, for me. It’s like a Glam Goth look.

Am my own Sugar Daddy. Am a millionaire at 36 after getting out of $60K of student debt in 18 months, a little over a decade earlier, using TheBudgetingTool.com. I have worked 50% of my career (taking 1-2 year breaks), and quadrupled my income within 2 years of graduating, going from $65K to $260K with an average lifetime savings rate of 50%. I have 11 side incomes that are on track in 2020 to make me $50K - $75K. I could retire today if I wanted, but love my work-life balance as a freelancing consultant in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). I am all about balance - between time and money, and also enjoying my money. I also post daily on Instagram @saverspender.
