Sherry’s #OOTD Outfit of the Day Style & Fashion Look: The Forgetful Professor Look

I post my outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) under this Style category #OOTD Daily Style and then I do a summary of all the looks in my Month of Style roundup at the end of the month.

I sort of like the Forgetful Professor vibe that is happening. Slouchy, oversized vibes.

I’d normally do a shawl blazer in a black or white, something more fitted and softer, not this borrowed-from-the-boys look…

But I sort of like this slouchy, hobo, bag lady look. I am slowly trying to ease into it by pushing myself out of my comfort zone and trying loose, shapeless layers.

This blazer is great because of the rose gold zippers which are amazing, and the long shawl lapels…

I added a gold necklace, and made it short to act a bit like a choker, but in the end, I think I should have loosened it and made it longer to hang down PAST the v-neck.

I like the mix .. but I feel like I am not ready for this level of shapeless-ness. I need to add a belt over this, or do something different because it isn’t an “OMG I LOVE THIS LOOK SO MUCH” kind of reaction I am getting when I look at it.

I am feeling more of a “Meh”, it’ll do.

Shapeless Bag Lady. vibes. At least there are lots of pockets in the dress and in the blazer.

This is a “meh” for me. Not a NO as in “this is so awful I can’t even post this”, but not a hit and what’s the point of having great clothes and outfits if they’re not all hits?
