Sherry’s #OOTD Outfit of the Day Style & Fashion Look: “The Brianna Hanson-inspired look from Grace and Frankie”

I post my outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) under this Style category #OOTD Daily Style and then I do a summary of all the looks in my Month of Style roundup at the end of the month.

The Brianna Hanson-inspired look from Grace and Frankie

Continuing on my Grace and Frankie lovefest, this is truly a Brianna Hanson look because she mixes bright, bold colours together, arresting, clashing… it’s her in an outfit as an inspiration.

So, I decided to channel her. Again. Orange sweater with red pants, normally too bright for a look, but when paired together, suddenly becomes a bold neutral, in my opinion!

I wanted to keep the focus on the colourblocking of the orange and red, but couldn’t resist a contrasting purple/lavender/white DIY necklace I made, that pops so perfectly against the orange.

I made this necklace as part of my DIY Upcycling initiative, where I take necklaces I don’t really wear any more, and transform them into new pieces that are interesting fun and sculptural. A lot of my old pieces, no longer reflect who I am as a person, as in some of them are too dainty, or aren’t wild or bold enough. I really think I have a streak of Iris Apfel in my style aesthetic, because the bigger, the bolder, the chunkier, the better.

Then.. the heels. Just for that corporate polish because Brianna was the CEO of the company Say Grace and thus far, I have not really caught her in anything but heels or sneakers.

I have 11 side incomes that are on track in 2020 to make me $50K - $75K.
