Sherry’s #OOTD Outfit of the Day Style & Fashion Look: “The Après Ski Look”

I post my outfits on the blog every day at noon (12 p.m. EST) under this Style category #OOTD Daily Style and then I do a summary of all the looks in my Month of Style roundup at the end of the month.

The Après Ski Look

Strap some skis on me, and I can imagine wearing a similar outfit on the slopes. If I skied (and I don’t). There’s something about grey and white pants that makes me think of cosy warm cabins and of OTHER PEOPLE skiing, while I hang out inside and drink hot cocoa in front of a roaring fire.

I decided to add a pop of colour with this look, and chose The Circe Necklace that would blend in as a silver piece with blue/teal accents that go with the grey sweater and blend in without blending in. I like the sharp lines of the necklace I made against the kind of loosey-gooseyness of the sweater.

I made this necklace out of 3 necklaces, you can read about the process here and I named it The Circe.

Fresh white jeans, cuffed… agains some dark grey suede charcoal boots. Is there ANYTHING prettier as a combination!? I am sure there is, but this one really makes me happy. I also love the fun tassels on the boots.

The dark grey boots pick up the grey in the sweater, and the boots being super dark, really ‘ground’ the outfit between the expanse of white in between the top and boots.
