October 2015: What I bought, watched and read
TRAVEL CITY RINGS – $400
I bought Hong Kong, NYC, London & Paris in various metals!
[THRIFTED] LONGCHAMP PLIAGE IN NAVY LARGE – $80
Bought it used. It has obvious wear at the bottom & fraying and is NOWHERE near the condition of mine when it was stolen, but what do you expect for $80? At least I have a Pliage back and I didn’t have to pay $200 for it. When I go to Paris I will pick up a few more as spares, but for now, this will be a good quick bag to use to carry things.
M0851 WALLET IN GREY – $200
I decided to downsize my wallet. The current zipped one I had was too big, long and bulky.
I wanted something more minimalist so I decided on a trifold wallet that had at least a spot for coins (a zippered area) and enough spots for the cards as well as receipts.
This one fit the bill, pun intended.
I had looked at other versions and thought about Comme des Garcons but I am loathe to spend a ton of money on something that don’t LOVE, and this one.. I saw it and LOVED it.
…and now for the big kahuna.
I have been eying and saving up for something from Cuyana. I FINALLY FINALLY bit the bullet and purchased this beauty:
ECO-FRIENDLY RECYCLED NAVY ITALIAN WOOL WRAP COAT – $525
It ships at the end of October. I can’t wait to get it and Instagram it and REVIEW IT!
SIMONS CONTEMPORAINE FLORAL SKIRT – $79
I don’t know if I’ll keep it because it’s pretty thin and the ONLY REASON why I bought it is ONLY because of the gorgeous, gorgeous print that is a knockoff of Ted Baker’s Fuchsia Floral, Grettia skirt.
The one I’d really want is the Ted Baker one, but for $230, it is pricey for a skirt that is a statement and not something I’d wear every week.
