THE INCOME = $22,272.79
Day Job: $21,155.40
Day job .. is my day job. It’s what I earn each month, working 40 hours a week.
I don’t work overtime (normally).
So this is a really nasty month only because Affiliate programs have all changed around… I will not have any real source of income coming in from that, as they switched to a “purchase-to-pay” commission basis.
I no longer get $$ based off the clicks to a site, I get it off what people BUY. O_o
I’m effectively %#%&)$@.
Affiliate: $0 – this is going to be grim from now on

INCOME GOALS FOR THE NEXT MONTH
Not much I can do here. I have about 6 more months to kill it, but then I have to pay taxes on that income, etc etc…
At least I am guaranteed $$ until the end of the year for now.
THE EXPENSES = $6275.93
I. Had. So. Much. Fun. In. NYC.
I shopped so much, I had such a lot of fun, and frankly, I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Did you see my shopping amount? $3000+ is no joke, y’all.
Little Bun had Mommy-Loss Anxiety at night, and was very upset for 2 nights because I am his security blanket, and he wanted me near him at night to go to sleep.
BUT HE MADE IT.
HE PULLED THROUGH.
Anyway, whatever it is, next month will be costly as well because my family is coming up to visit and I foot the entire bill when they’re here (normally). Expect a couple thousand extra in hotel, food and so on..
What else cost money this month aside from shopping?
Mot included in the budget above is my donation to the U.S. border programs because as a mother, I almost cried in the bathroom when I thought of those children.
I gave $2500, flat. I just donated through Paypal, as many Canadians can do. I felt much better afterwards.
What else cost money…?
Laser hair removal.
I know it isn’t as much as clothing, but it is pretty pricey each time I go. I am determined to not bother with a razor again so I am actually seeing results (even after 2 sessions only), and am willing to pay up to 6 sessions to eliminate all the hairs possible on my legs and under my arms.
In the end, money is made to be spent. I can’t stress out about net worth because as someone recently pointed out to me:
YOU ARE STILL YOUNG.
I have a good 30 years left of work in me, and if I can count on working a solid 15 of them, it means $3.6 million in gross revenues in the next 30 years.
That should be more than enough to spend like I want to, save as much as I want, and chill.
On average, I save about $50,000 a year for retirement / life, and at my age, considering I am now edging up towards the millionaire mark (personal net worth only, as we together as a couple are already millionaire), I should be a millionaire (easy) by the time I am 40… *shrug*
Maybe it is dumb to try and compare myself to the “average” population and their savings, but I have no other benchmark, and I don’t really want too eat beans and rice, and ride a bike in winter to save money to become richer.
To sit on a pile of cash and be miserable? Eff that #%(*#%).
I’m here to enjoy my money, and life is good. Why try and beat myself up?
