LOOKING BACK

I am giving away this ring, in case you missed it:

https://www.savespendsplurge.com/giveaway-rose-ring/

I worked, got frustrated a lot (normal project stress) and have been trying to enjoy the weather.

AM I A CREEPY MOMMY?

As of late, I have been just.. staring at Baby Bun. Like lovingly staring at him.

I also like to lie down with him at 5 a.m. when he wakes up squealing for milk, and stare at him drink his bottle.

Then I touch his chubby little baby paws, and kiss his fat little cheeks, and am totally, 100% smitten.

I think this is normal, right? For all parents?

He must think I’m the creepiest or neediest Mommy ever.

Always staring at him, kissing him, tickling him, playing with him, snuggling, hugging, cuddling and nibbling his fat little belly and thighs.

Sometimes he of course is a terrible little monster and needs time out in his bed, but he is just so…darn lovable.

He’s also very helpful and sweet. Always trying to help me and be a good Baby Bun. <3

INCOME = $18,678.20

About $100 from my (finally!) payout from Google Adsense.

The rest is from my day job, working ~ 40 hours a week, give or take.

EXPENSES = $3337.13

Youch.

At least I went up, but it is not hard to have an increase when you make a lot of money.

The stock markets have just been killing my net worth but I dun care. I’ve been ploughing my savings into buying index funds on the cheap.

I’ll be whipping out my reserves to keep buying and buying, and then sitting on them until they rise like a delicious souffle and I CASH IT IN AND BUY A HOUSE.

CHA-CHINGGGGGGG!

OH and Baby Bun is almost at $10,000 but the stock market has also kicked his little behind.

    Only a small amount of my net worth is in the stock market right now due to the house so I haven’t really been keeping up with the trends. Luckily, I’m about to see a big cash infusion in a month or two, which’ll be a help if stocks take a nosedive. Then I’ll just have to decide if I want to wait until inevitable nosedive (I’m betting August or September) or invest all up front since really I’m just terrible at timing the market.

      I’m terrible too, so I’ve been buying in $5000 increments each week to do dollar cost averaging.

    Looks like you are going to do well, even if the stock market turns into a category 5 hurricane. You have saved enough to cushion yourself against your investing losses. I know my investments have taken a beating these past few days :(.

      I lost at least $15,000 in the past few days. I guess the more skin you have in the game, the more you have to lose. I don’t even look at the market any more, makes me nervous… that said, I am buying stocks in $5000 increments with my spare cash.

    Hah we call that the VORTEX OF DOOM. We do stare at Lil Bean too though we TRY to pull ourselves away. Or warn each other not to look! 🙂
