INCOME GOALS FOR THE NEXT MONTH

I don’t really have any. I know it’s really trendy these days to talk about that, but… no. I don’t have any.

Honestly, my goal is just to keep working on a contract and keep making money.

I was thinking I would work more overtime and make more money, but WHO HAS TIME FOR THAT? I am already busy as-is, and I don’t need more stress.

The only income goals I could have, are blog-related. I guess I could hustle more, but I don’t want to be That Blogger.. you know, the kind that shoves everything in your face and makes you eat it for breakfast?

Not my style..

THE EXPENSES = $4,444.32

Spending I am good at, however 😉

So in partly place of stress shopping to stop bringing in more stuff into my house, I am stress EATING (and stress spa-ing.. if that is even a verb).

I am going out to eat, I am trying to calm myself down with great plates of food, and it is I think, marginally better than buying new stuff — at least it just disappears.

Here is how I broke down my spending this month — you can see I have done a lot of self-care on myself as well – laser hair removal has made a huge difference so far. I am not worrying about razors on my vacation any longer.

Just in case it wasn’t clear enough, this is how I prioritize my life:

Really though, after laser hair removal, the only thing I could do again is skin treatments – more laser intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments, or .. none at all.

I have noticed a big difference in my skin lately, and I wonder if it is because I am eating less meat in general, or maybe I am just taking much better care of my skin than before – daily, morning exfoliations for instance.

That does it.

Sherry of Save. Spend. Splurge.

I got out of $60,000 of debt in 18 months using TheBudgetingTool.com. Since then, I have worked 50% of my career (taking 1-2 year breaks), and quadrupled my income within 2 years of graduating, going from $65K to $260K (savings rate = 85%). I could retire today if I wanted, but love my work-life balance as a freelancing consultant in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). I also post daily on Instagram @saverspender.

The food on your Insta is droolworthy, but you’ve more than earned it (literally and figuratively). I wouldn’t feel too bad about it. I’m an enabler, I know.
