Save. Spend. Splurge.

Is there anyone that you are trying to attract or repel when you dress?

Trying to attract good service, money, power and favours from people.

Trying to repel creeps (like this one who stalked me), losers and mate poachers.

No seriously though, it depends.

At work, I dress professionally, and attract a better command of respect from the guys I work with even while in a skirt being girly as heck.

If a little admiration falls into the mix, I am vain enough to smile and enjoy it, but I am really aiming for RESPECT.

Not derision, objectification, or what have you. I don’t wear anything that makes men or women see me other than a professional, and then I just wear what I want within those limits (e.g. a bright pink dress is not unheard of on me).

I don’t feel the need to wear only neutrals, dress like a man, wear sexless outfits, and otherwise erase my gender.

Am a woman.

Am proud of be a woman.

Will dress as I see fit.

(Should be my bumper sticker.)

At home or on my own time, I dress how I want. How I feel that day, what the weather is like, whether or not I have worn these shoes lately and think they should be given a go….

This could include leather leggings (yeah I get looks, and I DUN CARE).
