In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: Where you don’t need to use shampoo ever again.

I’m really intrigued by zero shampoo and have been for a long, long time (for any dedicated old school reader can attest to).

I tried using only water, I tried baking soda, I tried apple cider vinegar and I always, ALWAYS went back to some sort of cleansing surfactant-containing shampoo.

So when I read this article about using just oils and aloe vera to effectively cleanse your hair and scalp, without conditioner, without shampoos, I feel like I am sold. Once I go through all my John Masters organics shampoos, I am trying out this New Wash by Hairstory (I need to use up my supply first… I paid almost $20 a bottle!)

This gorgeous grey vegan leather and wool bag looks extremely chic for under $100. I’m sorely tempted if I didn’t already own a great vegan wool bag… Look at all of those compartments!!!

In case you EVER fall through the frozen ice, this is what you should do to save your life.

I sort of.. totally.. want this Bamboo Panda Coin bank for Little Bun. The panda grabs the coin.. how cute is that!?

I loved this post by Bridget about how the price of something is the same but the cost is not. She hit it right on the head. It’s how I feel when I go out to lunch with colleagues and I spend $20 and don’t think twice about it, and then someone mumbles that they didn’t expect to spend that much money and look a bit worried… Then I’m suddenly self-conscious.

These 3m Gold Filters are amazing for laptop privacy working in cafes and at work…. I love these things. I have one for each laptop and use them constantly. People are all freaked out when they walk by and see it is gold and wonder what I’m looking at.

I think this is a lot of pressure to put on a 13-year old to be the main breadwinner and aware of it, no matter how talented she is.

So I know I have said that leggings are not pants, but I feel like these leather details make it a bit more acceptable.
