In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: The story about the worst tenant ever
1. HELLISH
This entire story about Arif Adnan Syed f*king up the rentals and becoming a homeowner/landlord’s worst nightmare is kind of why I do not want to become a landlord. Ever. I know not all people are like this, but that the 0.1% of people could end up being people I rent out to, and I do not want this hassle.
2. BELT BAG
I have been eying this belt bag at Banana Republic since it launched and sold out immediately. It’s the perfect little size for a phone and keys, to go around, but also looks cute. Actually, it’s perfect for dresses that need a belt but don’t have pockets.
If this shape is not your thing, this crescent one from Cuyana is pretty darn cute.
3. RUDDY GOOD GUY
Sorry. Corny joke. It’s a story about Paul Rudd, helping cheer up a bullied kid by being.. basically, his friend. I won’t spoil it for you, but I love these stories because it makes me think of how nice people can be with zero ulterior motives.
4. LUXE MULES
I picked up these rainbow, luxurious handmade sheepskin mules for some house slippers. They’re made in Portugal by artisans. I will never be able to bring myself to wear them in public (no really..) but they certainly make going out on the patio in cooler weather, or walking around the house in winter, a lot more fun. I am also eying the pearl ones.
5. PICKY EATERS
This was so funny – penguins at a Japanese zoo refused to eat cheaper fish. They just simply wouldn’t allow themselves to be fed with lower-cost fish. Animals know better than us for sure. I have seen humans eat very questionable processed foods with zero qualms.
6. SIMPLE TEE
Cuyana for me, makes the best simple basics. I especially like their tee dress. Hat, sandals, bag, and comfort to be able to eat anything you want with this dress on. Very comfortable and yet chic.
7. INVISIBLE SEAMS
I absolutely adored this documentary on the workers in the garment industry in NYC. This short film is totally worth the watch.

8. LINEN SUNDRESS
I am ALWAYS on the lookout for a great sundress. If the straps on this dress were thicker, I’d be all over this gorgeous linen dress. I love the colour, and their quality at Banana Republic has been increasing as of late.
