In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: The Human Pokemon

http://www.fodors.com/world/asia/japan/tohoku/experiences/news/japan-uses-cute-signs-to-break-down-language-barriers-with-overseas-travele-12322?ref=February%209,%202017

LOL!

Or as I like to call it: “The Human Pokémon”….

And by the way, these signs in Japan are real.

Found out the Model Secrets: How to get rid of acne…vinegar? Really? If you can’t get rid of it, I have a trick with this Nars concealer where I dab it on, blend it into my skin put a little powder & then re-dab a bit more concealer again to cover it. It’ll stay the whole day.

For under $50, this gorgeous statement quartz necklace is right up my alley. The only sucky thing is being forced to sign up for an account to see it.

Check out this handy male & Female Income Percentile calculator by age and see how you stack up. (What? We ALL compare ourselves with others, the key is to not take negativity from it, but to then work to increase your income)

I almost want to buy this wooden drum for Baby Bun but then I realize that it would mean wearing my headphones 24/7, NO NOISEMAKERS in the household..

This Mark Angel video is hilarious. I was crying with laughter. Oh goodness.

Love this golden compass necklace.

A male contraceptive that is reversible & cost-effective, taking the burden of reproduction off the woman’s hands. But NO ONE WANTS TO INVEST IN THIS. WTF.

These gorgeous belted wrap booties are a good mix of casual and chic without being too covered in hardware, as well as being flat like sneakers or slip-ons.

With $15 left in her bank account, this Baby Boomer has come to peace with having less in retirement. This is my worst nightmare.

I absolutely want these stunning belted crop pants, I sort of have a hankering for adding pair that is high-waisted and belted like this pair to my wardrobe. I also love these wide-legged ivory belted pants too.

Want amazing, acne-free skin? Eat real food. It works. Specifically, sweet potatoes, coconuts, no alcohol, no coffee, dairy, or refined grains. So basically super clean vegan. :-\

All my pregnant friends need to make their partners do this.

This striped wrap dress is is gorgeous with an asymmetric front hem is only $54! I love how it flows, how it’s wrapped, the chalk stripe and the racer back.

Durable furniture made from mushrooms….whoa!

Love this side ruched dress.. i would be so confortable and flattering. Perfect for work and play.

I am doing this “X” thing when Baby Bun is older…

Still love this rose gold canister even though it’s pricey, it’s just so pretty.

Looks don’t matter in the office when it comes to getting paid because apparently there is something called an ugliness premium as well.

Am my own Sugar Daddy. Am a millionaire at 36 after getting out of $60K of student debt in 18 months, a little over a decade earlier, using TheBudgetingTool.com. I have worked 50% of my career (taking 1-2 year breaks), and quadrupled my income within 2 years of graduating, going from $65K to $260K with an average lifetime savings rate of 50%. I have 11 side incomes that are on track in 2020 to make me $50K - $75K. I could retire today if I wanted, but love my work-life balance as a freelancing consultant in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). I am all about balance - between time and money, and also enjoying my money. I also post daily on Instagram @saverspender.

I wipe diluted apple cider vinegar on my face each morning, generally adhere to a vegan before 6 PM diet and don’t have acne. I do consume caffeine, alcohol, and some dairy.

    Love the Spendid dress!

I got every single of those signs wrong! Apparently I wouldn’t do well in Japan based only on signage 🙂
