In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: How to assess quality garments

1. Assessment needed

Ree’s one of my favourite style-people, and she had a fantastic guide on how to assess quality in a garment with notes! I highly recommend her book The Curated Closet.

2. Hot Choc

To stave off the boredom of hot drinks, I am considering buying some hot chocolate.

3. Lyons’ Den

Jenna Lyons and her home tour is a visual feast. Her bathroom is quite amazing, but her toilet, is off to the side in another room that is equally as cool and maximalist.

For her closet and bathroom, watch this video from Allure…. it’s really interesting, particularly her bathroom (which is just her room with a toilet LOL)…

4. Terabitten

I … have a lot of data I back up, so when I hit my 1TB easily with just my Youtube video files, I realized I may need to buy larger hard drives like this Western Digital 5TB external hard drive. Luckily, they’re pretty cheap considering when I first bought these, it was 100GB for the same price, years ago!

5. Tweety

I burst out laughing at these tweets from parents this week. I thought this one was cute:

6. Lit

If you want some truly unique, interesting-labeled candles, you absolutely need to check these out because they’re hilarious, profane and wildly inappropriate.

7. Oatmeal Cookies

Flourless oatmeal peanut butter cookies. I don’t bake but these make me want to try to pretend I can.

8. Gilded

For at home lounging, this $40 gold foil jacket might be the chic, elegant key to working at home outfits.
