Save. Spend. Splurge.

In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.: Do you tell people how much you make?

Do you share how much you earn with your colleagues in the workplace? I find men are more proud of their salary and eager to show it off if they know it is a high rate and perhaps higher than yours (or if they know your ballpark is double theirs, they shrug and tell you because it doesn’t matter…)

PLUS SIZED WOMEN REJOICE!… Premme looks like a fantastic clothing brand for stylish women and out of what they have there (some of the details will always be tacky no matter who wears them), I like this dress the best but it’s sold out 🙁

… oh and if you’re a woman, you’re always doing something wrong. Are you skeptical? Here are 54 things magazines have decided that women are doing wrong.

This brand is fast becoming an affordable and yet very stylish & quality and chic shoe brand for me, and this flat, leather sandal that hugs the toe instead of being a thong-style flip flop by the big toe, looks very appealing…. and I actually did buy these pair of sandals but in a light brown leather — I love them!

This house for sale by Cersei Lannister (sorry, I can’t even think of her as any other name), is incredible. The decor, the look… wow. Warm Scandinavian is my style of decor and she nailed it.

I bought this paperbag waist skirt in a desert sage colour and find it surprisingly pretty and of a good quality for the price! I did find another version of the skirt I bought (which has long since sold out), and it looks very pretty in this linen cotton. It also comes in black, but that is not very summery to me.

Her husband makes half a million and she stays at home. This can be a very difficult dynamic to adjust to. Lots of questions about self-worth come up, and guilt…or stress that people think you’re some dumb bimbo Trophy Wife and treat you with derision. It is not as easy as what people think. Of course, it is better to have too much money as a problem than not enough, but even so. Things are not what they seem.

I have been on the hunt for a duster sweater like this to throw on as a casual item that isn’t a proper sweater, but so far have not found anything to fit my needs…. until now!

Big <3 to Gen Y Money for shouting out that we sleep on a minimalist Japanese futon and love it….

I did a lot of research into the futon after reading about it from you. Even tho it’s not suitable for me after some trial in Japan I still love the space saving concept especially in cities where space is a premium.

Thanks for the mention 🙂 Have a great long weekend!!

I remember reading that article about the woman with a husband who makes $500K and she stays at home. It’s hard to feel like you’re not contributing monetarily to the relationship/ household finances.
