- It is getting chilly and I need to start wrapping up in a robe. I’m eying this one because it’s cotton & has great reviews.
- I own this exact dress, and loved the way it was used a a Halloween costume here.
- I need a place to wear . I love the stunning cape at the back, but this is a black evening thing.
- How Leigh uses the StyleBook app. I love this app and reviewed it in detail here and I’m so pleased to be able to now track and see my outfits by day, plus cost-per-wear, although it needs a little help with minor features like Archiving old/sold pieces, and so on. I plan on posting monthly updates on my outfits as well.
- There is something very pretty about natural stone in a necklace. I really like .
- How to hide $400 million dollars from your wife. I think it says it all, no?
- I have these boots and they have kept their gorgeous tall shape and colour wear after wear. I also like how low key the logo is on them.

- How couples of varying incomes budget and make it work. Interesting read. Ours is simple, it’s 50/50 even if neither of us are working.

We do 50/50 even if only one person is working too. I would be curious for a post on how you manage that now. We know what both people’s full financial pictures look like though (required for a postnuptial agreement) and do overall annual financial planning even though we are keeping things separate.

What do you mean exactly? I’d love to do a post!
We still do 50/50… I pay half and he pays half 🙂 I just list what I bought and he does the same, and we reconcile at the end of the month to see who owes who.

Oh! It sounds like your partner is more detail oriented than mine – that would not work for us at all. His method of budgeting has always been to…not budget and that everything has worked out fine lol. He is not good at producing receipts so we’ve had to work out systems around that!

I usually make a note in my To Do app each time I spend something (or stuff the receipt in my pocket to log it at the end of the day).
We are both pretty detail oriented, but I really track it down to the penny and he just takes out $500 in cash each month and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Loved the super wealthy article so much, and then the one on how couples split money. My most recent partner, we did 50/50 and put equal amounts into the account,and earned similarly, though I’d say he spent less than me, though I’m not at all a rash or excessive spender or shopper. But the house was furnished and decorated by me, and that was made so clear when we split! I’m not sure how that’d work if I had protracted time off work with childbirth or health issues, but I own my own property, and that could be sold should I need cash as I own more than half its conservative current value.
