How Chanel Built Her Empire – “Once upon a time”

Only about 3 minutes, and a fantastically fast overview about how Coco Chanel built her empire and how she worked.

  • Chanel No. 5 perfume
  • Chanel Suit with the Military-Inspired Tweed Jacket
  • Chanel Black Quilted Bag with Chain Shoulder Strap
  • Chanel Beige Shoe with the Black Toe

I am not a manic Chanel fan, but I do like some items.

I’d love to own a tweed jacket one day, but alas, I am not willing to buy it unless it’s secondhand, and how many of THOSE do you see flying around?

    I actually worked for someone for a while who, for a moment, was going to have me sell a lot of her Chanel and other high end clothing on ebay for her. It ended up falling through (she was a bit wishy washy) but I have a feeling her wardrobe will eventually find it’s way to ebay or a lucky second hand store. Unfortunately she had several of the exact bag pictured above and wasn’t planning on selling those.

    I really, really love the Chanel brand, but unfortunately, I don’t own any one of it. 🙂 But I have a Chanel “inspired” phone casing which is very lovely!
