Save. Spend. Splurge.

Have you ever had a dream that involved clothes?

Yes.

I dream all the time of a massive walk in closet where everything is spaced out, well lit like in a store and I just walk in, lock the door, and can leisurely dress myself without a child trying on a delicate knitted (pricey!) cashmere sweater around himself like a cape, or trying to snatch all my scarves off the rack to hang off them like a monkey, or my favourite, smacking all the belts around like a whip.

I may have also dreamed of specific pieces out of frustration that I cannot find in stores and wish existed like high waisted cargo pants in the perfect khaki green (I think I found it but had to have it tailored) or pieces I am covering in store that cannot bring myself to buy (without a sale) as there is usually an exorbitant price tag (e.g. $500) tacked on.

Update: I did sort of find the high-waisted green khaki pants here.

This sparks dreams of finding said items ON SALE AT A DEEP DISCOUNT in-store as well. It comes full circle. My heart catalogues everything I want then needles me until my brain gives in.
